Laura Megles Taliaferro is employed by the MINDCAP Center as a cognitive mediator and assists with special projects for the organization. She has always enjoyed learning and was fascinated with Feuerstein’s thinking concepts, neuroplasticity, and mindset. Knowledge of mediation brought a new level of competence in helping others enjoy “aha” moments through their effort, perseverance, and belief that they can. She has experienced the blossoming of others as they grow their mindset, thinking strategies and knowing they can continually increase their brain’s efficiency.

Laura is a Fort Wayne Community Schools educator for 32 years as a classroom teacher and building administrator.

Feuerstein Institute certified in Basic, Standard, Tactile, LPAD, Group LPAD and STEM Categorical and Spatial Visual Thinking, Thinking Memory.

She has a passion for traveling, reading and biking and have been fortunate to tour all seven continents
