About the Seminar
When a child is born with Down syndrome, the diagnosis often carries an unspoken assumption that genetics sets the ceiling. This session challenges that assumption, drawing on my personal experience as the parent of a child with Down syndrome and a FIE clinician. Participants will explore how modifiability and the Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) program can develop critical thinking skills in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
