About the Course

The Thinking Memory Program offers a proven, non-invasive approach to memory enhancement in adult learners. Developed by the Feuerstein Institute, this program is scientifically backed to improve memory and delay age-related cognitive decline without the use of medication. With a focus on targeted brain training, Thinking Memory helps aging adults maintain independence, sharpen their cognitive abilities, and stay mentally agile for life’s important moments. This natural, medication-free program helps clients regain control of their memory, ensuring they can live independently with confidence.

 

The potential clients include:

  • Independent adults seeking to maintain cognitive health

  • Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)

  • Retired or working adults with mild memory issues

 

It’s not intended for those with advanced dementia or Alzheimer’s, but supports those who are functioning well and want to stay sharp.

 

Course Syllabus:

  • Theoretical basis of “Thinking Memory”;

  • Identifying the learning profile of your client;

  • Didactics of Thinking Memory mediation, including:

    • Memory tasks for time and space,

    • Memory for everyday life events,

    • Social skills tasks,

    • Perception and comparison tasks.

Prerequisites

The course is intended for educators, therapists, social workers, and other professionals interested in working with adult and elderly learners. Participants without previous Feuerstein training should attend the course for 5 days (July 20-24), including the introductory day on July 20. Participants with previous Feuerstein training can attend for 4 days (July 21-24).

Learning Materials

Course participants will receive two copies of the “Thinking Memory” workbook (80 pages) and two online” users” for the evaluation of the learning profiles of clients.

Certification

Course participants will be awarded a Certificate of Thinking Memory Mediator upon successful completion of the entire course requirements.
